Teri Stinchfield
Hi! My name is Teri Stichfield and I am a kindergarten teacher at Naranca Elementary School. I have been a teacher here at Naranca for the last 19 years, in kindergarten and second grade. I feel so lucky to be part of this wonderful learning community! I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from California Lutheran University, but came back home to San Diego to receive my teaching credential from San Diego State University. I also earned my Master of Arts in Education with a Reading Specialization from SDSU.
Kindergarten is such a fun adventure! One of the things I enjoy most about kindergarten is the opportunity to a part of children’s educational journey from an early start. The amount of growth young learners make is astounding and I feel so fortunate to be a part of it!
When I am not in the classroom I enjoy spending time with my husband and three young children, along with our extended family and friends. We love to spend our days enjoying the beautiful outdoors, going to the beach, hiking, swimming, and watching and playing sports together.
